Look What I Can Do

Curious Kitty!

Dean is now able to lift himself up. He is starting to enjoy his tummy time and will turn his head to watch the television or listen to my voice. Our days are becoming full of fun! Dean is laughing and smiling all the time now. Play time has turned into a whole new adventure because he is getting stronger and wants to pull himself up to stand...no more laying on his back, he is curious about the world! I think we might have a traveler on our hands (who would of thought!). He is sleeping about 5-6 hours at night now, YEAH for that.
After reading that Sofia got a little "too happy" with the hand sanitizer, I found one that is Alcohol-Free, non-toxic, non-flammable http://www.shopthehaven.com/w14132.html

I'm such a big boy!

Dean turned 2 months old! He has grown so much in these two months it is crazy! It is going by so fast...I want it to stop. Every night I look at him and want him to stay this size and then he has to go and do something miraculous the next day that I just want to see what else he can do! Today he followed Sogand around the room-moving his head and his eyes to watch and see where she was going...It was amazing! I started back to work yesterday and it was difficult, but I only worked 3 hours so not that bad! Today was the same, 3 hours. Thursday and Friday are going to be the tough ones...all day! Brent will be home with him sooo I guess I can relax a little. Here are some pictures of the 8th week of Dean's little life! Enjoy.

My Grandma is just as funny as mommy!

My Mommie is So Funny!

I never knew I was such a comedian! Dean thinks his mommy is so funny! This was the first smile and laugh that was not gas related...our week 7 accomplishment. He is also holding his head up independently. Dean is also sleeping in his CRIB! We started last Friday. It is great being able to flip flop in bed and not feel uncomfortable, but I miss haivng him there with me. The monitor is just so annoying at 3 in the morning, I would rather feel him stir than hear him cry. Pretty harsh to wake up to that.

Brent and I are doing good. Dean had some trouble sleeping last night so we were both beat today...I also want to thank Dean's amazing daddy for taking the morning shift while I got some much needed shut-eye! I got released from the Dr. today. I am set to go back to work on May 19-bitter sweet. It will be nice to get out of the house, but I am going to miss the chipmunk! We have sitters down until August when Dani will be here to help..Thanks in advance to the Wicked Mamaw and Aunti Linz for making the transition a little easier for us. Anyone else that wants to come play with Dean for an afternoon while we are out to you are more than welcome!
