Dean is now 1 1/2. Time has flown by. He is so big and talks all the time. He has become a little man. He will sit on the sofa next to Brent and I swear they look identical! Same facial expressions and all. He still wakes up in the night, but we are working on it.

No Excuses

I have no excuses...it has been awhile since I last posted pictures of Dean....sorry to all of you :)He is doing wonderful, except when he wakes up at 1am and doesn't fall back asleep until 3ish! I had some wise advice that I have tried for the last 2 nights that seems to work-although I fell a little guilty doing it but from the mouth of Wicked "Shut his door and let him cry!". I have also shut my door so now I can't really hear him at all. I feel sorry for our neighbors, but hey their kid screams like an animal trapped in a barbwire fence so who really cares right!

Dean is in a new daycare. It is more of a school setting that he can stay in until he is ready for kindergarten or we can afford to put him in a private PreK. At his 18 month checkup he was 33 inches and 27lbs. He is starting to talk much more and even trying to put sentences together. The other night he brought a toy to me and said "I want, Yes"..it was so cute-until I didn't open it then he went nuts. He is an active little monster who NEVER stops. I have to get out of the house on the weekends and only come home for naps...so anyone close who wants to play on Sat or Sun let us know. We are out usually around 8:30am. Fun Pics

Some fun pics. Hard to believe that Dean is going to be 16 months in a few days. He is getting so big and learning to imitate. His favorite to imitate is sneezing! He is talking a lot. Along with the adorable personality comes the terrible toddler stage. He has learned how to have a tantrum and it is driving me crazy. He sat down in the parking structure the other day and cried for 5 minutes because I took him out of the car. He will also have a meltdown if I turn on the shower and don't let him in with me. He loves the water. We are teaching him to swim and he is doing wonderful...we have a water baby! He can kick his feet and move his arms together...he can almost make it back to the step! I will post more pics of July 4th soon..for now enjoy these moments of Deans 15th month!

No fun title...just pics!

The camera went missing for a while...so a few pics from the last month. I love the ones of Dean and Brent....two peas in a pod you could say. Dean has 4 teeth now. I am assuming that since it has taken 14 months for these 4 special teeth to arrive, all the others will pop out at the same time! We keep him medicated with what we like to call in our house "Baby Crack"! When we pull out the teething tablets Dean does a little dance and starts chatting away..he can hardly contain himself when he sees them. I will take a video of it soon and post it so you can see just how excited he gets.

I had to share this picture with you all because Dean is becoming somewhat vain! If he sees someone with camera-fake, cell phone, digital, video...what ever, he will stop and pose for it! This was from Wed night about 30 min before he went to bed! He is such a happy little MONSTER! I am truly lucky to be his mommy! :)

Dean's 13 Months old...WOW

Ok, so I know it's been while! We have been super busy on this end-Brent is working a ton and I have been crazy trying to finish reports and working, and I am not sure what I was thinking but I signed on to do a 90 day boot camp and am dying over here! I have yet to lose a pound...but sleep like a rock!

Dean is doing wonderful. He had a pretty bad rash that lasted a couple of weeks. His top right tooth busted through today and the left one is going to come in any day. He is talking up a storm and loves to scold us when he doesn't get his way. He will wave his finger and tell us what is on his mind..it's the cutest thing! His favorite game right now is chase. He will drop to the floor and crawl away, squealing for you to follow him. When you don't he will come looking and start all over. He is waving bye bye and giving high fives. I am teaching him to blow kisses to me now when I leave for work. I attached a few new photos of him from his latest photo shoot...Enjoy!

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY DEAN!

Wow, where has the year gone? You are such an amazing little boy and you bring light and laughter into our lives every moment! My favorite part of the day is coming home and seeing you peek around the corner and smile when you see me..it melts my heart.

Thank you friends and family in Bakersfield and Lake Isabella who made Dean's party a success. Without you we would have had no fun! Next year his party will be in his home town so all of our friends down here can have fun with us! Enjoy the photos and see you next year.

Dean is now 11 months old!

Where has the time gone? Dean will be 1 in a few weeks and he is all over the place. No longer walking...he is almost running everywhere. He finally has 2 teeth! He is 25 lbs and looks like a 2yr old. He is in daycare 3 days a week now and it is great for him. He is learning so much from his friends there and imitating them like crazy. He likes to play "monster" and growl at me all the time..it is the cutest thing.

These pics are so funny! He found the laundry basket the other day and was taking out his clothes and putting them back in. He was rocking it back and forth trying to move it and fell over a few times, but was a trooper and got right back in it!

Look Who's Walking!

Dean is all smiles! He took his first steps between his Auntie Linz and I on Thurs evening and has never looked back...he is a little tyke on a mission with thousands of places to go! He still crawls if he needs to get some where in a hurry, but he is getting to be pretty impressive with his new fancy foot work!
